Aliaj Interior (“we”) acts as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. Data we collect
We only collect the data necessary for the purposes described below.
2.1. Data you provide to us
- Quote request: first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name (if applicable), municipality and postcode, project description, and any files you upload (plans, photos, documents).
- Contact form: first and last name, e-mail, telephone, subject and content of your message.
- Showroom booking: first and last name, e-mail, telephone, preferred date and time slot, optional message.
- Job application: contact details, CV and any information you choose to send us.
- Project execution: delivery and installation address, building access information, billing details.
2.2. Data collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, date and time of visit, referring website.
- Cookie and advertising identifiers (see article 7).
- A language preference stored locally in your browser (localStorage), which is never transmitted to us.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Each processing operation is based on a legal ground set out in Article 6 GDPR:

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
4. Retention periods
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes pursued, plus the statutory retention and limitation periods applicable in Belgium.

Once these periods expire, data is irreversibly deleted or anonymised.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged with third parties for commercial purposes.
It is accessible only to the members of our team who need it, and may be shared with the following service providers, who act as processors and are bound by a data processing agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR:
- Netlify – website hosting;
- Web3Forms – routing of forms (quote, contact, booking) to our mailbox;
- Google Ireland Limited – audience measurement and advertising campaign tracking;
- SDB Studio – bathroom furniture configurator operated by Aliaj Interior;
- our accountant – accounting and tax processing;
- partner carriers and installers – only the data strictly necessary for delivery and installation.
We may also disclose your data where a legal obligation requires us to, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our technical providers are established outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. Where a transfer takes place, it is governed by one of the mechanisms set out in Chapter V GDPR:
- an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or
- the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, supplemented where necessary by additional technical measures.

7. Cookies and trackers
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. Our website uses:

You can object to these trackers at any time, without this preventing you from browsing the site:
- by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies (Settings › Privacy menu);
- by disabling ad personalisation in your Google account settings, at adssettings.google.com;
- by using private browsing, which clears trackers when the window is closed.
These trackers serve only to measure website audience and the performance of our advertising. They do not allow you to be identified by name and are never used to make an automated decision concerning you.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is processed and receive a copy of it.
- Right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Right to restriction: request the temporary freezing of a contested processing operation.
- Right to data portability: receive the data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to any processing for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@aliajinterior.be. To prevent disclosure to a third party, we may ask you for proof of identity. We reply within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests, in which case we will inform you.
Exercising these rights is free of charge, except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
9. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority:

We do however encourage you to contact us first: most situations are resolved quickly and amicably.
10. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access:
- encryption of communications via HTTPS/TLS across the entire website;
- access to data limited to persons who need it in the course of their duties;
- use of reputable providers offering appropriate security safeguards;
- regular backups and system updates.
In the event of a data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will inform you as soon as possible and notify the APD/GBA in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
No processing involves automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you, nor profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
11. Changes to this policy
We may adapt this policy to reflect changes in our activities or in the legal framework. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its last update date shown at the top of the document. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by appropriate means.
